What we collect when you request a quote, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it. Plain language, no fine print tricks.
This policy covers Grime Getterz's website and the quote request form on it. Grime Getterz is a local, owner-operated exterior cleaning business serving the Central Valley, East Bay, and Greater Sacramento areas of California. Because this site is accessible to California residents, this policy is written to satisfy the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), which requires any commercial website collecting personal information from California residents to post a privacy policy, regardless of the size of the business.
The only information this site collects is what you type into the quote request form, found on the homepage and several other pages. That form asks for:
We do not ask for your email address, payment information, or any government-issued ID anywhere on this site. If you call us instead of submitting the form, we only have whatever information you choose to share on that call.
We use what you submit for one purpose: to contact you about the quote you requested (by phone call or text message) and, if you become a customer, to schedule and carry out the work. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing purposes, and we do not use it for anything beyond responding to your request.
Quote form submissions are currently processed by Netlify Forms, a feature of the hosting provider that runs this website, and delivered to us for follow-up. We are also in the process of connecting a field-service CRM platform, Jobber, to manage quote requests, scheduling, and the calls and texts we send about your quote. Once that integration is live, information you submit through this form may also be processed through Jobber. Both Netlify and Jobber act only as processors on our behalf. Neither is permitted to use your information for their own marketing.
By checking the consent box on the quote form, you agree that Grime Getterz may call or text the phone number you provide about the quote you requested, including by automated means. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop calling by telling us so directly. We use this only to follow up on quotes you request, not for unrelated marketing.
This site does not run any third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts of any kind: no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no ad-retargeting tags, nothing. Every page was built and verified to confirm this. The only data this site collects directly is what you deliberately type into the quote form described above.
Because there is nothing on this site that tracks browsing behavior, a "Do Not Track" browser signal has no effect here. There is no tracking for it to turn off.
The California Consumer Privacy Act and its amendment, the CPRA, give consumers additional rights, but those laws only apply to businesses that meet specific size thresholds (currently, more than $26.6 million in annual revenue, or buying/selling the personal information of 100,000 or more California consumers or households annually, among other tests). Grime Getterz is a small local business that does not meet any of those thresholds, so CCPA/CPRA does not formally apply to us. We're noting that plainly rather than claiming rights or obligations that don't apply to a business our size. That said, if you'd like to know what information we have about you, or want it corrected or deleted, call us and we'll take care of it as a courtesy.
This site is intended for adults arranging exterior cleaning services for their homes or businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date above. We don't send separate notices for minor wording changes.
